LOW WEIGHT<\/strong><\/p>\n

The weight of CarbonTT’s FRP profiles is extremely low. This makes it easier to work with them and allows to achieve a large weight saving on the finished structure.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

MECHANICAL PROPERTIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

FRP profiles from CarbonTT have high strengths at low density. More than about 50 % can be saved compared to steel and about 30 % compared to aluminum.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

SUSTAINABLE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our FRP profiles are produced in an optimized production process with little impact on the environment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Our FRP profiles are resistant to chemicals, liquids, and alkalis. Ideal areas of application are applications with an increased risk of corrosion and necessary resistance to chemicals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

ELECTRICALLY INSULATING<\/strong><\/p>\n

CarbonTT’s FRP profiles can have an electrically insulating and shielding effect depending on the material composition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

MINIMAL MAINTENANCE<\/strong><\/p>\n

CarbonTT’s FRP profiles have a long durability and service life. During operation, they are largely maintenance-free even under the most demanding conditions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

ABSORPTION CAPACITY<\/strong><\/p>\n

FRP profiles can absorb up to 5x more crash energy than steel absorbers. The energy absorption is very uniform. The available intrusion path is optimally utilized, since no material piles up (“block formation”).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

INDIVIDUAL PROFILE PROPERTIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

The component properties can be individually adapted by means of different fiber orientations, fiber materials and resin systems.
