The weight of CarbonTT’s FRP profiles is extremely low. This makes it easier to work with them and allows to achieve a large weight saving on the finished structure.
FRP profiles from CarbonTT have high strengths at low density. More than about 50 % can be saved compared to steel and about 30 % compared to aluminum.

FRP profiles can absorb up to 5x more crash energy than steel absorbers. The energy absorption is very uniform. The available intrusion path is optimally utilized, since no material piles up (“block formation”).
INDIVIDUAL PROFILE PROPERTIES
The component properties can be individually adapted by means of different fiber orientations, fiber materials and resin systems. This enables the components to be designed in line with requirements and optimized in terms of weight.
