Buxtehude, April 21, 2021 – Despite uncertain, daily changing conditions as a result of the Corona pandemic and the UK’s exit from the EU, the Pultrex / KraussMaffei 20t pultrusion machine was set up and commissioned on time.
Injection box and mold were also delivered just in time during the set-up, so that the first pultrusion run was already successfully carried out on day 2. On day 3, after QA, the first chassis beams for five vehicles were ready for further processing and assembly – an incredible achievement by the CarbonTT team and a fabulous increase in productivity compared to the beginnings with vacuum infusion.
